Newborn Photography is like no other....
I understand that each client is looking for a unique photography experience and I want to make sure yours is truly magical. No matter how long it takes, we’ll get the perfect shots. Each newborn session is tailored to your needs and this will be discussed once booked to create the images you will proudly hang on your walls. The main focus of the session is your baby.
The studio is full of gorgeous props, blankets, outfits and accessories to use at your session.
Having had newborn training with Cass Davies, Claire Elliott, Emma Jane and Maddy Rogers, you can rest assured that your baby is in the best hands.
Before
Every single baby is different and will arrive into this world in their own time, so when you book a newborn session, we will pencil in your due date as a guide and once your baby has arrived just send over a message and this is when we book the official session date.

After your session is booked we shall discuss what to expect, what you'd like to achieve and any requirements you may have. I have a range of props available in the studio and a range of different colours, I always recommend that you choose colours from your home so your images fit in nicely with your decor.
During
Once you arrive at your newborn session I shall ask that you undress and feed your baby, the studio is kept nice and warm for babies comfort but this can be a little warm for us, so i suggest wearing layers you can easily remove.
All sessions are baby led, this means that baby is in control and I am reading them throughout the entire session. You can expect to be at the studio around 3 hours, this allows enough time to feed and settle where we need to and still create a beautiful set of images. If you have older children its best that someone comes with you who can then take them out after their photos are done.
After
Once your session is done I shall start working on your images, with your permission i shall post an image or two on Facebook for a little sneaky preview to share with your friends and family.
Around 2-3 weeks, sometimes longer in busy periods like Christmas, I shall invite you back for a viewing appointment, this is where you view your final images and make your selections. There is wall art to view in the studio to see examples of what I offer.
Newborn Sessions are £99*, paid at booking.
The 'Simple' package is paid at your session or in smaller instalments leading up to your shoot date.
Around 2-3 weeks after your session you will have your viewing appointment, this is where you can choose your images or upgrade your package if you wish to.

Newborn Session
Where do sessions usually take place?
Sessions take place in my cosy studio situated in Framlingham town centre, its designed for the comfort of you and your baby. You can sit back and relax with a cup of tea while I pose your beautiful baby and you can enjoy the show.
How can I prepare my baby for the photoshoot?
This will depend on the age of your baby but generally I ask for baby to be in light clothing, just a sleepsuit with no vest is best and for them to be ready to feed once you arrive, this makes it easier if baby is asleep we don't need to disturb them too much by taking off too many layers.
How long will the session last?
This all depends on a few factors really, typically, a newborn session will last between 2-3 hours. This allows us plenty of time to feed, sooth and settle baby between poses, I don't want to rush your baby into anything, transitions are done slowly and with the thought of the baby. All sessions are baby led and as much as I like to think I am in charge, it most definitely is them.
